Do you offer free drug education presentations for schools?
Yes. Drug Educators Alliance offers free drug education presentations for young people. Request a free presentation.
Can teachers be trained to teach drug education themselves?
Yes. Our one-day Drug Educator Certification prepares teachers, health educators, counselors and school resource officers to teach factual drug education, and includes a ready-to-use curriculum. Live online training is $199 per participant through December 31, 2026 (regular $249). See upcoming dates.
What topics does the curriculum cover?
Fentanyl and counterfeit pills, vaping, marijuana and THC, prescription drugs, alcohol, methamphetamine, and practical decision-making skills for real situations.
Are student materials free?
Yes. Truth About Drugs booklets on each topic are shipped free to schools.
Can you help with Red Ribbon Week?
Yes. Our Red Ribbon Week page has a day-by-day activity plan for high school, free booklets and a free Zoom training for teachers leading an assembly.
What if our school has no budget for training?
Funding should not stop you. Schools without a budget may qualify for a Drug Educators Alliance grant that covers the cost of training.
